Join the Sheffield Historical Society in this conversation about what life was like during WWII at home. We would love to hear from those who were children during the war, or those who were born after but remember stories told by family members.
Memories of wartime may include ration cards, helping in wartime production at school, liberty gardens, and worrying about and missing family members who were overseas.
Email them to participate in the Zoom program.
If you can't make it to the Zoom but would like to tell your story, the Historical Society is conducting individual interviews and collecting written recollections and photos through the year. In addition to email, you can reach them at 413-229-2694.
A recording of the May 2 program will be available to view on their website.
