During the 1890s, Church of the Covenant went through a beautiful, drastic renovation. Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company completely redid the sanctuary interior under the supervision of designer J.A. Holzer and minister Dr. Edward L. Clark. The new interior included forty-two Tiffany stained glass windows, mosaics, decorative arches, and a fresh paint scheme, displaying both Tiffany’s unique aesthetics and the spiritual vision of the pastor and congregation. In this virtual presentation Roberto Rosa, conservator, restorer, and principal at Serpentino Stained Glass, discusses the restoration procedures used to preserve the priceless windows that adorn the interior of the magnificent Church of the Covenant.
