Restoring the Little Things that Run the World (virtual)

A recent UN report predicts that as many as one million species will disappear from our planet due to human activities. Many of these are insects, which nearly all species at risk rely on. Insect populations have already declined 45% since 1974.

We will talk with Doug Tallamy about creating landscapes that support pollinators, herbivores, predators, and other organisms that run the ecosystems we depend on, at the next talk from Sustainable Stow and Randall Library. Doug Tallamy is a professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware.
