The Friends of the Bushnell-Sage Library in Sheffield, MA invite the public to a poetry reading by Kateri Kosek. Kateri will present her prize-winning work in the program room at the library at 2:30pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
This is the second reading in the Friends’ Artists Talk Series focused on the literary output of local writers. Kateri, who lived in Sheffield for 10 years, is a contributor to The Edge, a college instructor in Creative Writing, Literature, and Composition, and a published author of both prose and poetry in various journals and reviews. Among her prizewinning 2023 publications are American Eclipse the winner of the Three Mile Harbor Press Poetry Book Award and Vernal, winner of the Split Rock Press Chapbook Series. She most recently won First Place for “Moon Roof” in the Poetry Competition at the Tucson Festival of Books. Much of her work reflects her keen observation of, and sympathetic association with, Nature’s phenomena such as eclipses and birds.
